One of the most common causes of downtime is configuration management errors. With our Configuration Archive service, we automate the configuration backup process, including network configuration. The service means that you don’t need to reconfigure a system or device from scratch, or deal with the errors this can cause. With access to an archive of your latest configurations you can ensure faster repair times and minimize security and compliance risks.

With automatic configuration backups you can eliminate the risks caused by configuration errors.
The service backs up configuration files alongside the most recent version. The backup versions are compared to the most recently stored versions, and if identical the most recent backups are discarded. If the files are different, the latest file becomes the most recent backup, and the previous version becomes ‘current minus one’.
The Configuration Archive service can be combined with our Asset Tracking and Analytics service, to further improve operational efficiency and support infrastructure optimization.
