Tsunehisa Okuno

Tsunehisa Okuno

Chairman

Tsunehisa is the Executive Vice President, Head of Global Business for the NTT Group. He’s responsible for planning and executing the global strategy.

Tsunehisa joined NTT in 1983. Since then he was engaged in network service promotion and corporate planning including the global strategy of NTT Group. In 2007 he was named General Manager of Global Business Strategy Office, Strategic Business Development Division of NTT. He was elected to Senior Vice President and Head of Global Business Office and Member of the Board of NTT in 2012. Since June 2018, he was elected to his current position of Executive Vice President. Tsunehisa graduated from the MIT Sloan School of Management, Executive Programme.

Jason Goodall

Chief Executive Officer, NTT Ltd

Jason is global CEO for NTT. He is a people-first leader, and his open-door policy, fun and personable nature, and authentic leadership style make him a leader we can relate to.

In 1998 Jason was appointed the Chief Financial Officer of OmniLink, a Dimension Data subsidiary that later merged with Internet Solutions.

From 2001-2003, he was the Chief Operating Officer at Internet Solutions. He first joined Dimension Data as the Managing Director of Middle East & Africa in 2003. In 2010, Jason served as Group Chief Operating Officer, and in June 2016, he joined Dimension Data’s Board of Directors. Prior to becoming global CEO, Jason was CEO of Dimension Data.

He holds a CA (SA) from the University of Witwatersrand, South Africa. Jason was born in South Africa and now lives in London with his wife and two daughters. In his spare time, he enjoys long distance running and cycling, and spending quality time with his family.

Masaaki Moribayashi

Senior Executive Vice President, ICT Infrastructure Services

Masaaki is Group Executive, ICT Infrastructure Services for NTT. He is responsible for driving growth and delivery of our IT Infrastructure Services portfolio, including data center, cloud, voice and video, and network.

Previously, Masaaki was the Senior Executive Vice President of NTT Communications. He was responsible for technology, services, operations, information security, and global business. Masaaki joined NTT Public Corporation in 1984, following his graduation from Hokkaido University, where he studied a Bachelor of Science degree in Electronic Engineering. He also has a Master of Science degree in Industrial Engineering from Alfred University in New York.

Masaaki lives in Tokyo with his wife. He has one daughter who lives in Kyoto. Outside of work he enjoys playing golf and traveling.

Chief Finance Officer

As Chief Finance Officer for NTT, Dave is responsible for owning the finance function, including corporate governance and stewardship, statutory reporting, budgeting, and large-deal governance.

Dave previously managed the financial strategy of Dimension Data. He first joined the Dimension Data Group as part of the Corporate Finance Team in 1997, later becoming the Vice President of Business Development Europe in 2000. In 2003, he became the Group Executive for Operations, and since 2004, has been Chief Finance Officer. He studied at the University of Oxford, where he completed a business degree at the SAID Business School.

Dave lives in London, and travels regularly to Germany to spend time with his daughters who are at school in Frankfurt. In his spare time, he enjoys playing tennis and golf and going on holiday to his beach cottage in South Africa.

Rory Scott

Independent Non-executive Director

Rory is an Independent Non-executive Director.

Rory was the Group Financial Director from 1987 - 1991. He served as Non-executive Director on the board of Dimension Data Holdings Ltd and then Dimension Data Holdings plc at the time of its listing in 2000. He also holds the post of Chairman of the Audit Committee and is a member of the Remuneration Committee.

Rory is currently the Chief Executive Officer of The Scottish Group. His focus is on ensuring the benefits of creating brands of value and well-nurtured brands, which connect and fulfil the needs and aspirations of consumers.

Rory graduated from the University of the Witwatersrand and is a Chartered Accountant (SA). He is also a sports enthusiast, especially rugby and golf, as well as a connoisseur of wine and single malt whisky.

Vab Goel

Founding Partner, NTT Venture Capital

Vab Goel is an entrepreneur and venture capitalist. Vab is the founding partner of NTT Venture Capital (NTTVC), a venture capital firm based in Silicon Valley. He is also a strategic advisor to NTT Group companies on strategy, emerging technology, and trends.
 
Previously, Vab was a Partner at Norwest Venture Partners for 19 years, a leading venture capital firm in Silicon Valley with $8B+ under management where he invested in startups in Asia, Israel, and USA. Vab helped launch multiple successful companies including world’s leading overlay network company, Virtela, which NTT acquired in 2014.

Vab served as Qwest’s Vice President of emerging technologies, a group he founded. In that position, he was responsible for identifying new technologies and the creation and implementation of the “Qwest IP Network and Data Center Strategy.” Prior to joining Qwest, Vab worked at Sprint, where he was a principal architect for the Sprint Internet backbone and contributed to the world’s first IP-over-Optical Internet architecture.
 
Vab collaborates with global CIOs to understand their challenges and help them adopt new technologies. In 1999, Vab was named as one of the Top 25 Unsung heroes of the internet. Vab holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from George Mason University.

Andrew Briggs

Chief Global Business Officer

As Chief Global Business Officer, Andrew’s role is to maximize sales, profitability, and client satisfaction for our global and international clients.

Andrew was previously Dimension Data’s Group Executive for Global Business. He joined Dimension Data as part of the Merchants acquisition in 1997. After relocating to South Africa to set up the Merchants business, he was appointed Customer Interactive Solutions and Converged Communications lead in 2003. In 2008, he was appointed Group Executive of Sales and moved back to the UK.

Andrew uses his knowledge and expertise of the IT industry to empower the sales teams to boost their sales performance, with specific focus on our global and international clients.

He has an MBA from the University of Stirling in Scotland and holds a Bachelor of Business Economics from Paisley College of Technology. He also completed a Post Graduate Diploma in Change Agent Skills and Strategies at the University of Surrey.

Andrew lives in London with his family. Outside of work he enjoys traveling, playing tennis, and watching sport.

As Chief Executive Officer, Europe, Andrew manages the end-to-end go-to-market, sales, delivery, operations, and profitability for the region.

Andrew was previously Chief Executive Officer of Dimension Data Europe. He joined Dimension Data in 2000 as the Chief Operating Officer for the UK. He holds a Bachelor of Accounting from the University of Sydney, Australia, and sits on the Board of Directors for over 22 companies.

Andrew lives in Switzerland with his family. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his family, skiing, and cycling.

Bill Padfield

Senior Executive Vice President, Transformation and Platform Services

Bill is Senior Executive Vice President, Transformation and Platform Services for NTT. In this role, he is responsible for driving growth and delivery for transformation and platform services- including consulting, technical, support, managed, and security services.

Bill was previously the Group Chief Operating Officer of Services for Dimension Data. He has 39 years of IT and telecom industry experience in Europe, North America, the Middle East, and Asia Pacific.

He is a graduate of the INSEAD Advanced Management Program. Based in Singapore, Bill is also a member of the Halogen Foundation Singapore Board, a not-for-profit organization that seeks to inspire and influence young leaders.

Bill lives in Singapore with his wife and two of his three sons. In his spare time, he enjoys rock music, weight training, and spending quality time with his family.

Ettienne Reinecke

Chief Technology Officer

Ettienne is Chief Technology Officer for NTT. He is responsible for our technology strategy and standards, positioning our capabilities with external stakeholders, and providing input into new-offer creation.

Ettienne was previusly Group Chief Technology Officer for Dimension Data. He was appointed to this role in 1998, which he still holds today. In 2011, he was instrumental in establishing Dimension Data’s Cloud Business Unit and is also Dimension Data’s executive responsible for joint development initiatives with the NTT Group.

Ettienne holds a Master of Engineering, Computer Systems, and Digital Networking from the University of Pretoria, as well as a Bachelor of Engineering from the University of Stellenbosch in South Africa.

Ettienne lives in Sydney. Outside of work, he has a keen interest in ultramarathons, surfing, and ocean rowing.

Grant Brodley

Chief Executive Officer, Middle East and Africa

Grant is Chief Executive Officer, Middle East and Africa for NTT. He manages the end-to-end go-to-market, sales, delivery, operations, and profitability for the region.

Grant was previously Chief Executive Officer for Dimension Data Middle East & Africa. From 2007- 2012, he held the position of Business Head: Middle East & Africa IT Outsourcing for Dimension Data. Since then he has held dual positions for the role of Sales Director for Middle East & Africa, as well as Chief Executive Officer. Grant holds a Bachelor of Agricultural Administration from the University of Stellenbosch.

Grant lives in Johannesburg and outside of work, enjoys spending time outdoors with his family and friends.

John Lombard

John Lombard

Chief Executive Officer, Asia Pacific

John is Chief Executive Officer, Asia Pacific for NTT. He manages the end-to-end go-to-market, sales, delivery, operations, and profitability for the region.

John was previously CEO of the Asia Pacific region for Dimension Data, with over 25 years of leadership and management consulting experience. Before joining Dimension Data, John worked for SAP as Head of Services for Asia Pacific Japan, as well as the Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director of Crowe Howarth.

John is also the co-founder of #HeforShe for LeanIn Asia, which helps create an environment that enables women to #LeanIn to their careers and passions. He also serves on the board of directors of Very Special Arts Singapore. John holds a Bachelor of Computer Science from Swinburne University of Technology in Australia.

John was born and raised in Australia. He loves the outdoors and believes in the importance of staying healthy. John appreciates different cultures and has lived in Indonesia, Germany, Australia and Singapore. He currently resides in Singapore with his family.

Marilyn Chaplin

Chief Human Resources Officer

As Chief Human Resources Officer for NTT, Marilyn leads and develops a strategy that enables execution of our new global operating company’s vision, and the realization of its long-term business objectives.

Marilyn was previously Dimension Data Group Executive for People & Culture. She has over 30 years’ experience in both the corporate and academic world. Previously, she has worked for major multinational companies where she held senior marketing and HR positions and has lectured at leading international business schools.

In 1996, Marilyn founded her own business, ICMD (International Centre for Management Development), in partnership with London Business School and Manchester Business School. ICMD was acquired by Dimension Data in October 2000. Marilyn holds a Master of Business Science (cum laude) from the University of Cape Town.

Marilyn lives in London with her family, and outside of work enjoys traveling, cycling, and good food and wine.

Matthew Gyde

As Chief Executive Officer, NTT Security, Matt is responsible for executing the security strategy, services, and go-to-market with the goal of building the world’s most recognized security business supported by a team of highly talented security professionals.

Matt was previously the Group Executive of Security for Dimension Data. Matt joined Datacraft-Asia in 2006, as the Asia General Manager of Security Solutions, and has since held several roles during his tenure with Dimension Data. His career in IT security spans more than 20 years, providing him with a deep understanding of how security platforms should be implemented and managed to ensure clients’ business outcomes are achieved, while ensuring their risk is minimized.  

Matt lives in California with his family, and outside of work enjoys snowboarding, tennis, and holidays with his family.

Naoki Kajita

Chief Strategic Solutions Officer

Naoki is Chief Strategic Solutions Officer for NTT. He looks after large full-stack offers that span our collective capabilities, as well as productizing appropriate, repeatable offerings for deployment by regions.

Previously, Naoki was Senior Vice President of ICT Consulting Division, NTT Communications and a Director of the Board in NTT Communications. In this position, he led a team of ICT consultants and presales specialists to support enterprise customers’ ICT and digital transformation.

Naoki began his career at NTT Corporation in April 1987, following his graduation from Nanzan University, Nagoya, Japan with a Bachelor of Arts in British and American Studies, Foreign Language Faculty. He also has an MBA in Global Business from Aoyama Gakuin University, Tokyo, Japan.

Naoki lives with his wife and toy poodle in Tokyo. He has a daughter. He has lived and worked in New York and Bangkok and is ready for his next destination. On weekends, he plays golf and flag football as an ex-American football player.

Neil Louw

Chief Information Officer

Neil is Chief Information Officer for NTT. He is responsible for establishing enterprise-wide IT strategy and owning overall IT operations and maintenance.

Neil was previously Group Chief Information Officer for Dimension Data, managing the company’s digital assets. This includes customer experience, analytical, business, and infrastructure systems. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Rhodes University in South Africa.

Neil lives in Switzerland and outside of work, he has keen interests in photography, cycling, and skiing.

Paolo Masselli

Chief Go-To-Market Practices Officer

As Chief Go-To-Market Practices Officer, Paolo is responsible for designing our go-to-market strategy and sales operations guidelines. His role includes building offers and the value proposition for the Systems Integration business and drive sales and client engagement across the organization.

Paolo was previously the Group Chief Operating Officer, Go-to-Market for Dimension Data. Prior to this role, he was the CEO of Britehouse, Dimension Data’s application business in the MEA Region.

He has extensive experience in establishing, transforming, and running businesses. Most recently, he was instrumental in merging and consolidating various entities of Dimension Data Applications and the Britehouse Group, into a single application business with a common brand.

Paolo holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of the Witwatersrand, South Africa and a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of South Africa.

Paolo lives in London with his family. Outside of work, he enjoys traveling, sports cars, cycling, and playing golf. He also enjoys watching sports, specifically Formula 1, MotoGP, rugby, and cricket.

Ruth Rowan

Chief Marketing Officer

Ruth is Chief Marketing Officer for NTT. Responsible for leading our marketing function, she is accountable for marketing strategies and policies in order to ensure global brand position and product strategies to support our business ambitions.

Ruth was previously Dimension Data Group Executive for Marketing. Prior to joining Dimension Data in 2015, Ruth was Chief Marketing Officer Asia, Middle East and Africa for BT, based in Hong Kong.

Ruth holds a Master of Human Sciences from Oxford University, and a Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) diploma. She's an active member and Fellow of the Marketing Society and was the Founding Chair of the Society in Asia in 2013.

Ruth is based in London, travels extensively, and in her spare time enjoys being outside, running, and hiking in the hills with her husband and pet dog.

Steve Nola

Chief Executive Officer, Australia

Steve is Chief Executive Officer, Australia for NTT. He manages the end-to-end go-to-market, sales, delivery, operations, and profitability for Australia.

Steve was previously Chief Executive Officer of Dimension Data Australia and prior to that, was the founding global CEO for the Dimension Data Cloud Solutions Business Unit between 2011 and 2016.

He holds a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering (Hons) from the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology majoring in Robotics. In 2010, he was inducted into ARN’s Hall of Fame for his pioneering work in the ICT industry and his entrepreneurial flair.

Steve was born in Australia and is proud of his Italian heritage. He loves cooking some of the traditional fare with his wife and three sons. In his spare time, he enjoys wood working and designing one-off pieces including guitars and bespoke furniture.

Takanobu Maeda

Chief Strategy Officer

Takanobu is Chief Strategy Officer for NTT. He is responsible for leading our Strategy Council, documenting agreed corporate strategy, creating process to share the strategy internally and externally, and defining key metrics to measure, and drive our strategy execution.

Takanobu was previously Senior Vice President as the Head of Global Business and a Director of the Board in NTT Communications Corporation (NTT Com). Prior to that, he was President and CEO of NTT Com Asia Limited, one of the largest overseas affiliates in NTT Com, and HKNet Company Limited from 2009 to 2016.

Takanobu was seconded to NTT America in 1995 on a business incubation project to conduct research on optic technology. While based in New York, he was assigned as Head of Arcstar and GIN in the US in 1997. In 2000, he was transferred back to NTT Communications to establish the Global Network Division as the Director of the division. He was promoted to Vice President of Global IP Network Sales and Marketing in 2006. Takanobu began his career in telecommunications at NTT Corporation in April 1988, following his graduation with a Bachelor and Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Meiji University, Tokyo, Japan.

Takanobu lives with his wife in Tokyo and has a daughter who lives in Osaka. In his spare time, he enjoys playing golf, doing yoga and watching movies with his wife.
